James Dymond the Junior Champion had a great night on the boat with Sub editor Stuart Malcolm. James caught his limit of four fish, and released a further three. seen here with a brownie off 2lb. Stuart malcolm caught a whopping 3- 1/4lb blue and returned it as he had already caught his limit Club Champion Jim Twaddle Fishing From the Bank at Twaddles Point also had a great night catching and releasing brownies

After a cold Spell Catches are starting to improve with Eight Fishers Catching 20 Fish and returning quite a number things are Starting to look up . It can only get better as the weather starts to warm up

Catch Returns show that the loch is fishing quite good for this time of year with most fishers catching fish and a few catching their limit .Using a floating or intermediate line ,with a medium to slow retreive Just on or about 1 foot below the surface . Best fly - Tadpole or Antermony lure on the point Kate McClaren or Clan Chief on the bob -- location-- all area's producing fish from boat . from bank Morton's bay just after sunset with a west or southwest wind
